While waiting for material for some of my other jobs (Thompson & 4 Sisters) I decided to make a massive 24″ Out Building Stove! Stands 48″ tall on the main chamber and 24″ in diameter. Cold air intake, Ash door included with a 6″ stack stub included. Here are the progress pictures from today, more to follow tomorrow.
The pipe was coated so we needed to burn the coating off Grind the leftover coating and add the top plate to the stove. With the top plate on we simply plasma torched the 6″ stack hole and trimmed it with 1/8th flat bar, used a 6″ stack to check fitment Plasma torched the opening for a door, added hinges, ran 2″ pipe underneath the grating. Zipped on a Spring handle and lock Next is to add an Ash Pan and bottom plate with some feet and we’re off to the 16″ stove.
