I was contacted by Dan out of Calgary Alberta. He asked a very simple question, Can you build a Bear Trap? Yup! Just send me a picture and I’ll build you one!
Above is the picture that Dan provided and I scaled the picture using https://eleif.net/photo_measure.html Eleif measure tool. It actually works great.
Here’s the build photos
laid out the teeth 
used 10″ pipe to bend the trap 
Hinged the teeth to the base 
used a 6″ hole saw to make the trigger 
bent, welded and bent again to make the spring assembly 
Great wall art 
Painted using a Hammered silver and sprayed with black flat to age the wall art
